Inundation Risk in Miami, Florida

Flooding poses a major threat to countless people around the world. With this in mind, certain locations and metropolitan areas are more at risk than others. Miami, Florida is one of these locations at risk because of it’s geographical placement. Factors including bordering the Atlantic Ocean, being hurricane prone, and most parts being only a few feet above sea level makes this city in danger of experiencing life-threatening flooding. Below is a map I have created showcasing which places in the greater Miami area are most at danger for rising sea levels, categorized by feet above sea level.
